What Makes a Reputable Breeder

There are unfortunately many scammers. Here is how to know the difference:

1. We are registered with CFA. Some breeders are registered with TICA.   Ask for the CFA number and check on their website.

2. If a "reputable breeder" sells you a Maine Coon kitten for less than $1000, it is scam.

3.  Reputable breeders do not just sell on Craigslist, they have websites. Scam websites often do not have a phone number of a clear way for contact, no CFA number and they offer lower prices ($300-$1300).

4. The breeder usually can send you pictures and show you a live video. We will talk to you. We do not just conduct business through text messages only, we want to learn about you as much as you want to learn about us. We care that our kittens find good homes.
